Held by CTA, the second meeting of the self-discipline committee was held in Beijing on February 21st, 2019. The purpose of this meeting was to ensure the orderly work of CTA in 2019, give full play to the self-discipline function of the industry, establish and improve the self-discipline working mechanism, and lead the trust industry to return to its original business as well as serve the real economy in accordance with the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and the National Financial Work Conference.

This meeting was presided over by Mr. Chen Bing, General Manager of Shanghai Trust. Mr. Qi Jianming, the Executive Vice Executive President of CTA, pointed out that as the decision-making body, think tank and advisory body of CTA’s self-discipline work, it is hoped that the professional committee can promote the construction of the industry consensus.

During the meeting, Mr. Zheng Fang, Deputy Secretary-General made an introduction on the background of the seven topics of CTA's self-discipline work in 2019. After thoroughly discussion related to above topics, the committee members put forward relevant suggestions on the implementation of the "due diligence guidelines for trust companies," targeted poverty alleviation and charitable trusts, the formulation of green trust standards, as well as the implementation of trust company industry ratings.
